What is an independent assessment?

An independent assessment (often referred to as an IER or Independent Engineers Report) is a written report, from an independent engineer, not linked with Oodle Car Finance or the supplying dealership. The engineer will be trained to assess the vehicle and identify any issues present. The engineer should also be able to say whether the reported faults, were present or developing when you got the vehicle. This report helps us to understand how we can support you in line with your legal rights.
